General Personality
ENFPs are warm, enthusiastic people that always see the possibilities of what could be. They love life, seeing it as a special gift, and strive to make the most out of it. They see meaning in everything, and are on a continuous quest to adapt their lives and values to achieve inner peace. Since emotional excitement is usually an important part of the ENFP’s life, and because they are focused on keeping “centered”, the ENFP is usually an intense individual, with highly evolved values. Most ENFPs have great people skills. They have an exceptional ability to intuitively understand a person after a very short period of time, and use their intuition and flexibility to relate to others on their own level. ENFPs are charming, ingenuous, risk-taking, sensitive, people-oriented individuals with capabilities ranging across a broad spectrum.
Strength : Innovating
ENFPs are constantly attracted to what is not, what is not yet, or what could be. They are able to see the potential of every situation, of every person, and how things could evolve.
It is not uncommon to see these users trying to answer questions that do not make any practical sense, and which often have no use at all. In fact, they are only interested in broadening the discussion towards alternative realities, in order to feed their insatiable intellectual curiosity.
At the heart of society’s most consequent innovations, ENFPs act as a source of fresh air for everyone, emancipating themselves from the overrated to highlight the full potential of life in order to find more ways to live life to the fullest.
Immature use of this strength can, through unrealistic attempts and impatience with the thought of sticking to the same ideas, lead to degrading and dangerous instability, lack of concentration on tasks lacking novelty, and abandonment of many projects to start new ones.
Developement Point : Preserving
ENFPs find themselves unable to follow such a structure as it would have imposed on them since it would mean imposing heavy restrictions on their innovative mind always in search of what is not.
ENFPs therefore find themselves in great difficulty when it comes to showing the slightest degree of organization. And this is not by choice, but by inability. Under normal conditions, their minds are blocked on the exploration of new possibilities and the exploitation of their vivid imagination—processes that require the erasing of all barriers of thought, and thus imply the non-respect of all that will force them to do the opposite.
This creates deep instability in their lives, as their extreme anti-conformist spirit prevents them from conforming, even to themselves. Indeed, they are never really present to themselves: if their body is here, their spirit is elsewhere, and vice versa. Thus, performing repetitive tasks, concentrating on some activity, following the rules, arriving on time, writing without mistakes, or even remembering where they left their keys become daily challenges.
Whether it’s for work or for love, making choices is very difficult. Being by far the best at predicting all possible scenarios and aware of all the parameters on which events depend, making a choice is also something they prefer to put off until they no longer have the time to make a decision.
Living far from reality and not being fully aware of their physical presence in the world, they prefer to never engage in experiences that could turn out to be bad. Indeed, these individuals will be most uncomfortable during bad experiences because they will consciously bring them back to the physical sensation they have of themselves—in their bodies—where they are not used to living. This explains, among other things, the great frequency with which they can fall ill or get injured, unaware of the physical realities undergone by their bodies.
Despite their deep desire to have a stable life, they will very regularly lack discipline in all aspects of their lives unless they begin to develop their weakness. Indeed, individuals who will develop their preservation ability will become responsible individuals. For example, they will show great loyalty to their loved ones, will be solely responsible for their own comfort (and thus keep their home clean), will be efficient at work thanks to their great capacity for concentration, will become athletic thanks to their extraordinary stamina, will not forget anything, and will be people on whom we can definitely rely.
Relationships
ENFPs are very outgoing and bubbly but less with their crush. Think about their crush all the time. Ask them tons of questions. Go back to being flirty once at ease and may accidentally seduce people around them from time to time. Their madness and loving nature will make their crush forget they were late for the date. Offer them enough plans for a lifetime.
ENFPs need a caring, moral, and interested person who shares their passions. Someone clever will also suit them perfectly because that person will open the door to thoughtful debates about anything they want but will also be structured to balance their sparkling state of mind. They need an independent person with dreams and ambitions for the future.
Once in a relationship, their partner will only get bored if they fall asleep. Each conversation gives the impression of teleporting to another universe, sometimes going to another even if they haven’t fully explored the previous one. They enjoy intelligent and passionate debates about something they love. They have an uninterrupted flow of creativity, affection and love for their partner once they are fully engaged.
